Welcome to the Wide Bay Burnett Human Services Network The Wide Bay Burnett Human Services Working Group (WBBHSWG) is recognised as the peak network for human services across the Wide Bay Burnett Region. PURPOSE It provides a coordinated, partnership approach between the community sector and all tiers of Government in seeking to identify, prioritise and facilitate human service issues. AIMS - Identify and progress regional human service priorities (including actions within the Wide Bay Burnett Regional Plan)
- Input into all regional planning from a human services perspective
- Provide a two way means of communication between key regional, sub-regional and local forums
- Develop a holistic regional picture for human services
- Provide an avenue to enhance, recognize and encourage partnership
approaches and collaboration between government employees and
community workers to inform and work collaboratively on joint projects
at all levels that link into Regional Managers Co-ordination Network (RMCN) from a human service perspective and
also into Wide Bay Burnett Regional Planning Advisory Committee (WBBRPAC) through the Chair.
- Adhere to fundamental values such as valuing input from all
stakeholders, respect, open and positive communication, fairness,
valuing difference and diversity etc.
- Recognize Human Service issues, identify relevant response agency/ies and recommend appropriate response strategies.
